Leslieann is a New Orleans based Doula excited to support mothers locally as well as nationwide! Her journey into birth work began after watching a Breakfast Club interview that featured Latham Thomas. Recognizing that the maternal and infant mortality rate for Black women in America is FOUR times higher than any other race is what prompted her to do this work. Leslieann has trained with Ancient Song Doula Services and Sista Midwife Productions to be able to assist expectant mothers throughout all facets of their journey. Her philosophy is that “mothering the mother” is the ultimate role of a Doula/Birth Sister.
